USSSA Junior High State Golf Tournament

USSSA Junior Golf will host the USSSA BATTLE OF NEW ORLEANS on Saturday/Sunday, May 20-21 2017, at Stonebridge GC, Gretna.  Boys & Girls 12-18 will play 36 holes (18 per day) while Boys & Girls 9-11 will play 18 holes (9 holes per day). Entry fee for Boys & Girls 12-18 will be $170, and Boys & Girls 9-11 fee will be $100. Boys & Girls 12-18 will be divided into 12-14 and 15-18 divisions of play. 

All golfers must be USSSA Registered. USSSA Junior Golf registration is FREE.

All players will receive tee gifts at check in, Including tournament t-shirt.  Deadline to enter this Championship will be Wednesday, May 17th, 10pm.

Louisiana Tournament of Champions

Louisiana Champions Golf Tournament information:

The 15th Annual La. Champions Golf Tournament, will be held at Tamahka Trails Golf Course in Marksville on Monday, May 22.  Invitations will be extended to the top 6 medalist and ties in each of the boy’s state tournaments and the top 4 medalist and ties in the two girl’s state tournaments.  Green fees for a practice round and the tournament round will be paid for by the tournament committee.  A dinner for the players and their parents/coach will be held at the golf course on Sunday, May 21 at 6:00 p.m. Invitations will be extended to qualifiers at the completion of play of the Allstate Sugar Bowl LHSAA State Championships. All qualifiers must go to the website at and enter by May 12 in order to participate. Attention coaches!!! The upcoming season is here, and with that comes the opportunity to get the word out about your team like never before. Make sure your team gets the media coverage they deserve!

Your local media outlets and The Associated Press are asking for your continued assistance in covering high school Golf in the 2017-18 season. For your team and athletes to receive detailed and accurate coverage, make sure you contact your local newspaper, tv or radio stations. Coaches, please provide a roster with first and last names to the media, and report final scores at the end of every contest to local media and the AP.
